Ednorth

Ednorth is a programme that aims to inspire change in all classrooms across the North East by promoting an educational culture led by informed debate, research, collaboration, and excellence.

Forest School Association - find your local group For the advancement of education for public benefit through promotion and support of quality Forest School in the United Kingdom using any means to enable all children, young people and adults to benefit from increased opportunities for high quality and varied educational experiences in the natural world. LGA Foundation

The LGA Foundation aims to support organisations that are involved with improving the health and wellbeing of others, welcoming grant applications to fund projects that offer assistance to those who need it most, particularly young people and vulnerable young women. Apply for a grant (from 6 April 2024).

SHINE Trust - School Grants 

SHINE offers support to projects that can make a real difference to the attainment of children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the North of England.

South Tyneside Community Funding 

Funding schemes are available for voluntary and community groups in South Tyneside, via the Open 4 Community portal.

South Tyneside Council 

Online information and support for education, learning and childcare and SEND.

Sunderland City Council 

Free school meals, travelling to school assistance. Details of all grant payments made to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations can be found here.

Sunderland sports funding opportunities 

Sunderland Sports Fund providing financial aid for Sunderland's young sporting talent, and Washington Sports Trust.
