Ann Morris has been a brand partner with Usborne for three years and has been working with schools and nurseries to help support them with fundraising and helping to get more books into the hands of children.
Books are one of Ann’s passions and she finds it so rewarding to be able to share the love of reading and help support schools and nurseries who would like to revamp their libraries. The great news is that to run a sponsored event is completely free! Plus, Ann does all the work taking the pressure off the school. The events can even be done totally virtually, too.
As a brand partner, Ann takes care of everything:
Ann can also host a book fair at the school, arrange an author visit, and send free teacher resources and activities for the children.
Additionally, the school is also able to purchase books without running an event and can still get the same benefits of up to 60% top up in free books!
Feel free to browse Ann’s website to see all the books available. There are more than 3,000 to choose from, suitable for all ages, with some incredible BRAND NEW box sets now available which offer fantastic value for schools.

She personally recommended books suitable for gifts for children leaving and starting primary school, organised a sponsored listen raising £150 and earlier the year she held a community book pledge for us raising £650 enabling us to get an additional £360 of free books for the pre-school.’ – Sarah Boorman, manager, Holden Park Pre-School
‘Early this year, Ann helped our school to organise a very successful sponsored read event in partnership with Usborne which raised over £1,600 worth if books through parent donations and over £970 of extra free books. At every stage, she was always there to support us with information and advice with passion and care an we are so grateful for her help.’ – Morvarid Gutteridge, treasurer, Bidborough Primary School
