County Voluntary Council (CVC): Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations (BAVO)

Providing free support and assistance to all member community and voluntary groups, not-for-profits and social enterprises in the Bridgend area.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Cardiff Third Sector Council

Providing specialist advice, support, and information to local third sector organisations on issues that affect them, including funding, governance, volunteering and participation.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS)

Helping to improve the quality of life of people and communities by supporting volunteers, volunteering opportunities and voluntary groups.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO)

As part of the Third Sector Support Wales network, consisting of the 19 County Voluntary Councils (CVCs) and national support body, Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA), our shared goal is to enable the Third Sector and Volunteers across Wales to contribute fully to individual and community well-being.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Interlink (Rhondda Cynon Taff)

An ‘umbrella’ or ‘hub’ organisation providing support to volunteers, communities and community and voluntary groups.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Neath Port Talbot Council for Voluntary Services (NPTCVS)

Supporting, Promoting and Developing the Third Sector.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Swansea Council for Voluntary Service (SCVS)

The umbrella organisation for voluntary activity throughout the City & County of Swansea, supporting, developing and representing voluntary organisations, volunteers and communities in the County.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Torfaen Voluntary Alliance (TVA)

Supporting community based organisations, groups and social enterprise development in Torfaen and surrounding areas. They assist third sector organisations to secure funding also by providing advice on, governance and structures, charity law registration and constitutions.

County Voluntary Council (CVC): Voluntary Action Merthyr Tydfil

The Volunteer Centre will be able to tell you what voluntary work is available locally and will be able to put you in touch with local organisations. We will also be able to answer any queries that you have about volunteering.

Edina Trust

Schools in Bridgend and Neath Port Talbot can use their grants for science resources, gardening equipment, science weeks, science subscriptions, science visits (in or out of school) and improving school grounds for science.

Ogi Community Fund

The community fund offers micro-grants of up to £250, and/or volunteering opportunities, to a range of local groups and community organisations in their current and future full fibre towns and villages. Applications for the ‘Cefnogi Fund’ are open up to four times a year. The next round opens in 2024.

Play Wales/Chwarae Cymru

Play Wales is an independent charity funded by the Welsh Government that promotes children’s play.
