Ednorth is a programme that aims to inspire change in all classrooms across the North East by promoting an educational culture led by informed debate, research, collaboration, and excellence.

Forest School Association - find your local group For the advancement of education for public benefit through promotion and support of quality Forest School in the United Kingdom using any means to enable all children, young people and adults to benefit from increased opportunities for high quality and varied educational experiences in the natural world. The Kingspan Insulation Community Trust

Funding can be given for projects in Sherburn-in-Elmet, that meet one or more of the following four objectives:

  • to support the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment;
  • to encourage biodiversity (the variety and number of plants and animals);
  • to improve the health and fitness of young people through recreation; and
  • to promote road safety.
