Alderman Newton’s Educational Foundation Offering financial support to individuals and schools to help people access education or training opportunities.
Coalville Special Expenses Community Grant To support and encourage a range of community activities, initiatives and events that meet the needs of residents in these wards: Coalville, Bardon, Snibston, Thringstone and Greenhill.  
Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VAL) is a charity that helps people in local communities to change their lives for the better, through direct service delivery and by supporting the local voluntary and community sector.
Creative Learning Services CLS offers an annual modular service that enables you to create the package that meets your school’s needs and budget.
North West Leicestershire Sport & Physical Activity Alliance Check the website for funding for sport and physical activity, from the North West Leicestershire Sport & Physical Activity Alliance.
Leicester Museums & Galleries They engage with a variety of activities including running learning sessions, community outreach, exciting volunteering opportunities plus health and well being programmes.
Leicestershire & Rutland Gardens Trust Grants provided to help schools and parents encourage children to love gardens and landscapes, through visits and hands-on gardening activities.
Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Community Foundation They create and manage personally named and directed charitable Funds for, families, agencies and individuals cross Leicestershire and Rutland. All Community Foundations (UK)
Leicestershire Holiday Activities and Food Programme It is specifically targeted to offer provision to children who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals, for four hours a day, four days a week during the identified holiday periods.
North West Leicestershire District Council Community Groups Grants and Funding. 
Out of school funding For children with additional needs, who live in Leicestershire and would like to attend an Out of School setting.
Recycling for Leicestershire Schools Working with schools to promote recycling and related waste management issues. They have resources available for nursery, primary and secondary schools.
SHIRE Community Grant Enables voluntary and community sector organisations to deliver community-based projects, services and activities which help to improve the lives of vulnerable people in Leicestershire.
Wild Forest School project Provides fun, engaging opportunities for children,  some of whom have never had the chance to explore the outdoors – to experience the natural world and discover nature through a range of wild activities.
