Edina Trust |
Schools in Manchester City can use their grants for science resources, gardening equipment, science weeks, science subscriptions, science visits (in or out of school) and improving school grounds for science. Deadline to apply: 14 June 2024 |
Forest School Association - find your local group | For the advancement of education for public benefit through promotion and support of quality Forest School in the United Kingdom using any means to enable all children, young people and adults to benefit from increased opportunities for high quality and varied educational experiences in the natural world. Search for FSA affiliated groups. |
Greater Manchester Youth Network | A range of development programmes and drop-in activities to help young people transition to adulthood feeling skilled, supported and positive. |
Greater Manchester Sport Grants and Funding | To support schools looking for local sports advice, grants and funds. |
Manchester Airport Community Trust Fund | Applications are considered four times a year by a board of Trustees from Manchester Airport and the local authorities of Stockport, Trafford, Manchester, Tameside, Cheshire East and Cheshire West Council. |

Manchester Environmental Network | Promotes the environment and the sustainability agenda within schools and provides various school Project Packages. |
Manchester Music Hub | Funding for schools to develop their music offer. |
Neighbourhood investment funds | These are funds available to communities to make their neighbourhoods better places to live. School PTAs can apply if they have the support of local residents and parents and their project will benefit the wider community and not just the school. |
Salford Small Local Funding | Salford CVS has been delivering grants and investments to the VCSE sector and primary schools in Salford since 2001. These include youth projects, community learning activities, neighbourhood renewal activities, older people’s projects, projects for disabled children as well as projects that promote health and wellbeing. |
SHINE Trust - School Grants | SHINE offers support to projects that can make a real difference to the attainment of children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the North of England. |
The Steve Morgan Foundation | The Foundation provides grants to support projects that support organisations helping children particularly with SEN. |
We Love MCR Stronger Communities Fund | The Fund is to help local people to improve and bring together their communities. As well as offering funding of up to £2,000, we can also support projects with publicity, volunteers and even perhaps a visit from The Lord Mayor. |
