Bedgebury Foundation (Kent & East Sussex)

The Bedgebury Foundation is a grant making foundation which supports the education of young people under 25 and the adults who teach them. Grants are only available to those who live in, or have had their secondary education in Kent and East Sussex.

Brighton & Hove Communities Fund

The Communities Fund is set up to support local community groups, voluntary organisations and not-for-profit social enterprise. The fund recognises the positive impact of voluntary action enabled by our third sector partners. It is an open, accessible fund.

The Chalk Cliff Trust

A foundation set up to provide grants and donations to charities, action groups and benevolent organisations in East Sussex.

Councils for Voluntary Service (CVSs): 'Lewis, Wealden, Eastbourne', 'Hasings' and 'Rother'

Once registered - start your search by answering questions about your organisation and the project you want funding for. You will then receive details of the funding schemes that match your criteria.

Gatwick Airport Community Trust

It awards grants annually for deserving projects within the area of benefit which covers parts of East and West Sussex, Surrey and Kent. Read more on funding and grants.

Hall & Woodhouse Community Chest

Charity and community interest companies can apply for a grant to go towards improving their local area - to help the youth, elderly, disabled, arts, environment and more.

Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm Community Fund

Supporting charities and community groups based in East Sussex and Kent, within a ten-kilometre radius of the wind farm.

Mid Sussex Voluntary Action

Helping local charities and voluntary groups in Mid Sussex set up, grow and thrive. Their e-bulletins include leads for local grants.

Rampion Fund

Supporting charities within a defined area of benefit to realise projects linked to sustainability and ecology. PTAs can apply as long as there is an element of community benefit.

The Steve Bernard Foundation

Supporting youngsters in disability, elite, schools, clubs & disadvantaged sports. £10,000 available for Sussex based projects. Grants of £100 – £1,000 available. Tend to buy equipment or pay coaches direct than give out cash. 

Southover Manor Trust

Supporting the learning of young people under the age of 25 in East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove.
